Okay, so here goes. I’ve always had high blood pressure… But it’s gotten worse lately. I attribute it added stress at work… And the addition of a new baby who has had some health problems that has added to my stress. My son is good now, so hopefully that stress is in the past.
I’ve cut out caffeine and alcohol entirely. I’m also increasing fruits and vegetables… And cutting down on red meat and processed foods that typically are high in sodium. I’m also running about 2 miles a day. I can drop about 20 pounds to get to my ideal weight. I want to control it naturally before I have my doctor put me on prescription meds.
Is there any other advice I can get? Maybe specific foods or vitamins that will help…
I appreciate your time.

Bell breathing. I read and heard that if you try to do bell breathing for 30 minutes each day, your blood pressure might slow down.
Good luck!!
Take care!
The best yoga known to work (in my opinion ) to avoid High BP is Rajayoga . there are many variants of this yoga- Iam not very religious, but this has always worked when in crisis . You may Google for details.
Next – Your blood cholesterol value is more important in some cases than the BP figure, and you need to work on a special diet to reduce your bad cholesterol if it is high. Finally – if you are into suddenly some extra physical effort and alcohol reduction to reduce your BP, it may work in the reverse for the first few weeks, but don’t give up.
