    good info if you want to treat the symtom rather than the cause.

  3. scrapmom65

    Sometimes the cause can’t be determined so that is why people are put on these medications. It is up to the patient if they “don’t want to get pumped full of drugs” and change their lifestyle if their high blood pressure is too high and they have a chance to lower it. I would rather take the drugs to treat this than to die of heart disease, stroke, etc. down the line.

    I teach advanced physiology and you are right on target with your response. We call this “idiopathic hypertension” of unknown origin.

    Everyone is different in their treatment of high blood pressure.I’ve suffered from thid for 12 yrs now,and didn’t find out I had it until I became pregnant.I’m on lopressor,micardis,and lipitor just for certain risk factors in my family.Mine is genetic.Lisinopril gave me nightmares,was awful.The thing that helped me maintain mine the best was exercise.I always got plenty,but I increased it ,and do it religiously for 2 hrs everyday,and now it’s normal.Try it..

    My grandmother has this condition: high blood pressure and drinking sour orange juice after each meals without a doubt lower your high blood pressure.

    nice video but i already maintain my HBP by taking levodyn and one good thing more about it is, it’s all natural without any harmful side effects.

  9. litebug12345

    Hi, Levodyn works! Bottom line. I found an ad on my health magazine and looked at this product for two months. Big mistake. I could have been enjoying natural and normal healthy blood pressure sooner.

    Since you suffer from high blood pressure you would like to avoid drinking coca-cola, green tea, and coffee that has caffeine which can raise your blood pressure when you don’t want to. So when your blood pressure low drink 3 spoons of coca-cola and check with your blood pressure machine tll it get normal. If your blood pressure high drink one spoon of Magnesia milk to bring it down. It works for my parents.

    Now that was a good comment.

    PLEASE PAY attention. ON PBS a Doctor/reported stated that 90% of the cost of medication goes into advertising and properganda. Ever read the effects? They’ll kill you. Dr. (like above) invest heavy in drugs so they own a house in NY, Hawaii, FL and et al. Do you think they care if you die? LOL Pavilox (sp) cost about $1,000 a WEEK! I will die in a year BROKE and suffering from stress related problems. PS I was FORCED to take the drugs! My daughter was tricked into signing a agrement!!!

    thank you..

    I was on verapamil for a awhile, until my HBP got so bad that my heartbeat kept me awake 24/7. Apparently, my HBP had kicked itself up to like about 220/115! My new doctor put me on some stronger stuff and said that he never recommends verapimil to any of his patients because it’s “useless”.I hope my HBP isn’t genetic because I’m in my mid 20′s/tall and muscular…not a 400lb. couch potato.But I’m still about 70lbs. overweight for my size,so hopefully the HBP will leave along with the weight.

    @Dallouez
    Some of these drugs work very well for people who cant otherwise control there blood pressure…. beta blockers are not that expensive either are ace inhibitors…. some of the drugs obviously you need the generic brand so just be smart about which ones your doctors prescribes you … ASK for generic!! OR get ask your doc for the cheaper drugs that can be affective for you….

    The best way to lower high blood pressure is with hawthorn, holly and daikon extract. For more information on Alistrol visit Alistrol (dot) (com)

    I had 170/110 for a while and the doc tried a few drugs. One did nothing and the other lowered it to 149/95 but increased my heart rate from 60-70 to 90-120 and I felt flaky. I decided to stop caffeine, reduce fat intake, lose weight and increase exercise. now its 138/90. So bugger the drugs
