I love sushi too, but it’s higher in sodium, so I would only eat it occasionally, raw garlic is also wonderful for lowering blood pressure. Just chop a little up and put it on toast or whatever your eating, it’s very very good for blood pressure, purple or red grapes are good as well and oatmeal. But, just watch your sodium intake and make sure you get lots of fruits and vegetables and whole grains.
i was diagnosed with high blood pressure when i was 10 years old.
it isn’t always from a large salt intake. it can be hereditary, or from a large fat intake as well…
you need to eat low fat foods.
if one food item has more than like, 5 grams of fat, don’t eat it.
ummmm…don’t eat fried foods, unless its like once every few weeks.
look at the sodium content on all food that you eat.
you need to eat alot of fruits and vegetables, and drink alot of water! dont drink cokes unless they’re diet.
if you eat fast food, get a salad or wrap.
burgers and fries are okay, but very seldomly.
and the worst part, no sweets, unless they are low fat and low sodium.
if you do this, your blood pressure will stay under control and you’ll also lose alot of weight
:]
good luck.
