How to reduce high-blood pressure?

I have a high-blood pressure due to being a bit overweight…and I have a physical after 2 days and the results will be sent to the New Zealand Immigration.

Are there any kind of food, supplements, or techniques to lower my blood pressure to the right amount??

And what should my blood pressure be to be on the safe side…

I lost 3 pounds and my blood pressure went down in 2 weeks not doing anything but watching what i eat. Lay of the salt. Try to stay away from things with high sodium. Loosing a pound or two could help. Just try to eat healthy.
