Facial Flushing when Im off of my Blood pressure Meds?

I noticed that whenever I go off of my High blood pressure meds I Blush easy and I break out in what looks like skin hives. It looks like a Red Rash and its spotty all over my chest and face- it will last for 10 mins and then go away.

I was in the hospital for 4 days and they said I don’t have High blood pressure anymore and took me off the pills. When I went in my blood pressure was fine and heart rate was normal- after 3 days of laying in bed- no food/no water the blood pressure dipped down very low.

The pills help this from ever happening. I’m thinking about taking the pills again just so this won’t happen ever again.

** I know I need to ask a doctor about this- but has this ever happened to anyone? Would you take the pills again? I can’t afford to ask off from work again… Please let me know what you would do
The Pills stopped the blushing/hives

  1. Crouching Doggie

I know, love, that this may not be the answer you’re looking for but it truly is case dependent. If you’re having facial flushing off the meds, then it’s very difficult to ascertain what’s causing this without an adequate doctor’s visit. My apologies.
